How to Setup a Facility Pool
You may set up your facility allocation in the Facility Pool Setup screen.
The Facility Pool Setup screen will allow you to enter your allocation percentage to various other indirect pools.
First, ensure that you have created your facility pool(s) in the Pool Setup Wizard. Only facility pools that have been first created in the Pool Setup Wizard will be available for selection on this screen.
Next, click on the button “Add New Rate” select the “Active” status. Select the “Fiscal Year” to which the percentage rate will apply.
Then, select the “Facility Pool” and the “Indirect Pool” that will receive the allocation.
Enter the allocation percentage to be used when calculating your actual indirect rates. In the “Budget Pct” column, enter the allocation percentage to use when calculated your budgeted rates.
Add additional indirect pool allocations until the percentage equals 100% for the fiscal year.
Finally, click on the “Save Changes” button. This data will now be used to calculate your indirect rates.
