Pool Setup Wizard
The Pool Setup Wizard is your design center where you create your indirect pools. You may create up to 10 fringe pools, 10 facility pools, 10 overhead pools, 10 value-added pools, and 10 service center pools. If you need more than 10 pools, let us know, and we’ll add additional pools.
The flexibility built into the Pool Set Wizard allows you to create up to 10,000 different indirect rate structures, which should be adequate for 99.9% of small and medium-sized businesses.
The G&A Pool, B&P Pool and IR&D Pool are standard and are automatically created by GovBooks, and can be found on the Account Assignment screen.
After creating your indirect pools in the Pool Setup Wizard, you will use the Account Assignment screen to assign general ledger accounts imported from your QuickBooks company file to the indirect pools you have created in the Pool Setup Wizard.
